"Faithfully"

Hello, hello, hello!
Once again I will apologize for going AWOL for a while, been pretty busy with Christmas coming up and it’s only going to get worse.
It’s been an interesting cruise so far, we left Sydney and made our way down here to New Zealand and we’ve been visiting the same ports we’ve visited before.
I bought everyone in my little department their Christmas gifts already! They are all like “Oh….we didn’t get you anything….derp” and I tell them it’s ok that I enjoy buying presents and they don’t have to feel obligated. I just love Christmas!!
Cultural observation time!
            - Aussies and Kiwis leave their trash EVERYWHERE when they eat in fast food places. Forget about “Trash Here, Trays Here”, nope, it’s just a free-for-all. Then some poor bloke has to come along with a big trash bag and throw it all away himself. That hardly seems sanitary to me. I mean, they do have the trashcans there to throw things away yourselves, but, nobody seems to do that. I found this to be true at a McDonald’s in Sydney and a Wendy’s in Auckland.
            - No matter how much we (as the entertainment staff) think an act sucks or isn’t too great, the guests LOVE THEM. Our ratings for the last cruise were SKY HIGH, which is a good thing on one hand, but, it means harder goals for next year…oops! Double-edged sword!
